Not all CO2 extraction methods yield the same results. Experimentation is critical to achieve an efficient and optimal extraction of the various elements that can be derived from botanicals. Our team extensively researches and experiments with extraction parameters and post-processing techniques.  We focus on preservation of a full range of the desired components from botanicals.

Researching and experimenting with extractions is an absolute necessity, as the methods can vary depending on the type of input plant material. Our CO2 extraction methods can yield the equivalent of typical winterized extract. Further, our winterization methods can provide results typically only achievable through distillation.

CO2 EXTRACTION

Botanical oil for nutraceuticals must be extracted via a safe, non-toxic and environmentally friendly process. We use subcritical and supercritical CO2 extraction to satisfy such requirements. Proper extraction parameters can either minimize or eliminate post-processing steps.

POST-PROCESSING METHODS

Raw extract from the supercritical CO2 process can contain unwanted plant waxes and lipids.  We refine our extracts further via implementation of various techniques, such as winterization and scrubbing. Methods are used to achieve optimal refinement and preservation of desired elements from botanicals.

RESEARCH AND EXPANSION

Our team's skills and qualifications enable us to provide safe, superior botanical oil extraction and post-processing methods to supply high quality botanical oil for nutraceutical retailers.  Expansion is on-going as botanical processing capabilities, capacity, and product lines increase.
